About FiveRep
Structured training, easier to plan, follow, and improve.
FiveRep exists to make good training structure accessible - turning goals and constraints into usable plans, then keeping planning, logging, and progress in one place.
Founder
Built from software, systems thinking, and training experience.
FiveRep is built by Jeff Hollis, a software engineer and former Princeton track and field athlete. Jeff studied operations research and financial engineering at Princeton and spent several years building software at Epic Systems.
That background shaped FiveRep's focus: turning goals, constraints, and training context into plans that are structured enough to follow and flexible enough to adjust.
The product comes from a simple gap: good training requires structure, but most people are forced to stitch together chatbots, spreadsheets, notes, calendars, and logging apps. FiveRep brings those pieces into one workflow so the plan can become something you actually run, review, and improve.
FiveRep is early, solo-built, and intentionally review-first. It is designed to help organize training decisions, not replace qualified coaching, medical guidance, or your own judgment.

Solo-built and early
FiveRep is an independent product in active development, with the core training workflow being refined as the app grows.
Systems-first planning
The product treats training as a connected loop: plan, schedule, log, review, and adjust.
Training-informed
The workflow is shaped by experience with structured competitive training, not just generic workout generation.
Review-first coaching
Coach drafts the plan, but you stay in control of what gets scheduled, changed, and logged.
Product philosophy
What guides FiveRep.
Specific, repeatable, adjustable
Training works best when it is concrete, can be repeated, and can be changed as things shift.
Coach output should create real structure
Coach should produce usable training plans - not generic text you have to rebuild yourself.
One connected workflow
Planning, logging, and progress tracking belong in the same place, not scattered across tools.
Better decisions at every level
A good training app should help both beginners and experienced athletes make better calls.
Who it's for
For anyone who wants better training structure.
Whether you're just starting out or already training seriously, FiveRep helps you build a plan you can follow and improve over time.
What we're building
